James Street Project Reaches Major Milestone with Duplex Delivery
On February 4 and 5, a modular duplex was delivered and installed on the foundation at our James Street site, marking a major milestone in this project. Over the coming weeks, our Construction Team and dedicated volunteers will begin the process of completing the homes in preparation for welcoming two new homeowners. The project is expected to take several months to complete.
This duplex will create safe, affordable homeownership opportunities for two families, providing stability and a strong foundation for the future. Thanks to the support of community partners, volunteers, and donors, the vision is quickly becoming reality, and we look forward to welcoming two families home to Whitehouse Station.

Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity is proud to present our annual Golf Fore Homes Charity Golf Outing, a day of great golf, great company, and an even greater cause. This year’s event will take place on May 4, 2026, at the beautiful New Jersey National Golf Club in Basking Ridge, NJ, with registration beginning at 10:00 AM. The outing brings together community members, sponsors, and supporters to help build and repair safe, affordable homes for families in our region.
Every swing, every putt, and every sponsorship helps make a lasting impact. Funds raised through Golf Fore Homes support critical home repairs, accessibility improvements, and affordable housing initiatives that help local families live in safe, healthy, and stable homes. It’s a powerful way to enjoy a day on the course while directly supporting our income-insecure neighbors.
Golfers will enjoy a full day of activities, including an 18-hole scramble format, contests, prizes, and raffles throughout the course. The event also includes lunch, refreshments, a BBQ dinner, and an awards reception, making it as enjoyable off the course as it is on it. Whether you’re playing to win or just playing for fun, the outing offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for golfers of all skill levels.
Golf Fore Homes is more than just a tournament—it’s a community tradition and an opportunity to come together for a meaningful purpose. We invite golfers, sponsors, and supporters to join us for a memorable day and help us continue building strength, stability, and self-reliance through housing.

Ground Breaking – Selection Process Underway
On September 9, Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity broke ground on a new duplex home in Whitehouse Station that will provide safe, affordable housing for two future homeowner families. Volunteers, community leaders, and supporters gathered to celebrate this milestone and the beginning of a new chapter. This project reflects our shared commitment to building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter one home, one family, and one community at a time. The homeowner selection process is underway.
RVCC / ReStore Truck Repair
Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity is excited and thankful for our new partnership with the Pray Family Center for Service Learning and Civic Engagement at Raritan Valley Community College. Through this collaboration, three Workforce Development Welding classes, one high school and two college-level are applying their skills to repair and restore the lift on the Habitat ReStore donation truck. The project provides much-needed restoration to the truck, which is used to pick up donations for the ReStore in Manville serving local residents. This partnership with RVCC ensures that we can continue to collect donations safely and efficiently supporting our mission to help more families achieve affordable homeownership.
Military Makeover with Montel
On September 30, Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity proudly joined the Military Makeover with Montel team in Hampton, NJ, for the Big Reveal celebration honoring Army Veteran Stephen Linn and his family. Over the course of the project, RV Habitat’s volunteers and staff worked alongside local partners to help transform the Linn family home creating a more accessible and comfortable space that reflects the community’s deep appreciation for Stephen’s service. The design team also shopped at our ReStore locations in Clinton and Manville for home furnishings to enhance the newly renovated home. The emotional reveal was a moving reminder of the power of partnership and gratitude in building stronger communities.
