Help us fund our next Women Build Home in Bridgewater!
By
registering on Firstgiving you are scheduled to participate in a Women Build
Workday in Bridgewater (Somerset). This packet includes your directions
to the Women Build work site, a waiver form, and workday information. A hard
copy of a pledge sheet is available for those who prefer not to do on line
fundraising by clicking the pledge sheet link below.
To do now: Start soliciting pledges. Each team member is being
asked to raise at least $50 for the Women Build program (or pay a $50
registration fee). Everyone raising $100 or more will receive a free T-shirt.
Use a Firstgiving Fundraising page, it is easy and effective!
Ask your friends, co-workers, relatives, or neighbors to sponsor you. You’ll
find that many people don’t have the time or desire to volunteer, but are
willing to give their financial support for Habitat’s affordable housing
mission. Remember, RVHFH relies entirely on private contributions to cover our
construction expenses. Proceeds from the Women Build Workday will go toward our
$100,000 goal to both fund and build our Women Build house.
To do on your build day: Arrive at the Women Build site by 8:30am.
Bring the pledge money you’ve collected with a hard copy pledge sheet if you
collect cash or checks that did not go through Firstgiving. Also bring your
completed waiver form, along with a positive attitude! We must have a hard copy
of your waiver form on site due to insurance requirements. Directions and
additional information regarding your work day are available by clicking the
